New York and Singapore have been revealed as the two most costly cities in the world to live in, according to an annual survey conducted by the Economist Intelligence Unit. Last year, Tel Aviv was the most costly city, but now it is third.
The cost of life in the world’s major metropolises has surged this year, according to a study by the Economist Intelligence Unit. The prices have risen an incredible 8.1% (average) from last year – so start saving if you’re planning on living it large!
The EIU’s latest survey reveals the vast differences in cost of living around the world. Comparing a staggering 400 prices across 200 different items, 173 cosmopolitan cities were newly surveyed with only Kyiv absent from this year’s list.
