RingCentral Business VoIP Plans for Small Business

There are 4 primary business plans offered by RingCentral. There are:

Essentials

The Essentials Package is priced at CAD $24.99. It allows voicemail to text capabilities, unlimited calls within the USA and Canada, 100 toll-free minutes every month, unlimited business SMS and MMS, IOS and Android mobile applications, and a toll-free/local number.

Also included with this package is call management and phone system administration, visual voicemail, voicemail to email, Microsoft integration, Google integration, Dropbox integration, 24/7 customer support, implementation, call log reports, HD voice calling, voicemail transcription to text, and on-demand call recording. With the Essentials Package, the maximum number of users is 20. While Essentials might be the perfect option for many small businesses, it lacks certain features of other subscription models, outlined below.

Standard

The Standard Package is priced at CAD $29.99. It offers everything in the Essentials Package, but with 1000 toll-free minutes a month instead of 100. Other benefits are unlimited audio meetings, unlimited video conferencing (with a maximum of 4 people per conference), unlimited internet fax, custom application development and deployment, Quality of Service reports, and multi-level auto attendants.

For an extra $5 a month, the Standard Package is going to be worth it for most businesses. In particular, the unlimited audio and video meetings (with screen sharing on desktop and mobile), as well as the 900 extra toll-free minutes, are going to cover the difference between the two subscriptions.

Premium

The Premium Package is priced at CAD $39.99 per month. It offers everything in the Standard Package, but with 2500 toll-free minutes a month instead of 1000. With the Premium Package, up to 100 people can take part in a video conference. Call recording with the Premium Package is automatic instead of on-demand. In contrast to the Standard Package, Essentials offers single sign-on (‘SSO’), multi-site support, and integration with SalesForce, ZenDesk, and Desk.com.

Medium-sized businesses might do well with the Premium Package. Businesses with less than 20 or so employees might find it hard to justify, as there may not be a need for some of the services.

Ultimate

The Ultimate Package is priced at CAD $54.99 per month, a steep increase from the previous tier. However, it offers 10000 toll-free minutes per month and allows up to 200 people per video conference meeting. The additional toll-free minutes can easily make back the cost for many business models (additional toll-free minutes cost CAD $3.90 per minute, which adds up). Everything in the Premium Package is offered with the Ultimate Package. There are no other benefits aside from the toll-free minutes.

A free trial is available with each subscription package. Additional toll-free numbers can be added for CAD $4.99 per month, international numbers at CAD $5.99 per month, international toll-free numbers at $14.99 per month, and vanity numbers for a one-time CAD $30 fee.

RingCentral Business VIOP Plans for Enterprise

RingCentral has a number of enterprise-level VoIP plans to cater to larger corporations. These plans are why it has such a strong affiliation with large businesses and government bodies. In comparison to many other providers, RingCentral Enterprise is quite competitive. Most enterprises will take advantage of the RingCentral Ultimate Package, with 10000 toll-free minutes and unlimited video conferencing with a maximum of 200 people per conference. It also integrates with SalesForce, ZenDesk, and Desk.com.

Enterprises may also wish to make use of other specific functions. RingCentral can replace legacy PBX systems on-site and implemented a more efficient, cloud-based solution. This is known as Virtual or Cloud PBX, without any complex hardware to install or maintain.  Enterprises may also wish to consolidate multiple vendors, unify disparate communications across various networks, or integrate existing applications with RingCentral.

RingCentral has a number of published and open source SDKs for enterprises looking to use their own customized applications along with RingCentral software. The developer platform enables direct access to data – so trends can be easily monitored. It has a very strong developer program for enterprises looking to capitalize on client trends and really crunch some figures.

RingCentral Ranked #1 for Business VoIP Service

RingCentral has been ranked the #1 business VoIP service, and with good reason. As mentioned above, a 2019 Gartner report indicated that is was the best UCAAS provider, worldwide. This is actually the third year in a row that RingCentral has claimed this award. RingCentral is perfectly suited for both small businesses and larger enterprises.

Many customers are reporting 30% savings or more when switching from phone lines to RingCentral’s VoIP services. Some of the most common highlights are the ease of setup, the low cost, and the smooth GLIP integration. It allows employees to work remotely and allows for far more customization in comparison to landlines.

RingCentral further provides specialized packages depending not just on size, but on the particular industry of the client. It’s based in over 80 countries and is an all-in-one communications provider. Messaging, customized apps, VoIP calls, video conferencing, integrations with the biggest brands (Microsoft, Google, Dropbox, SalesForce, etc), and a 24/7 live chat support team make RingCentral one of the best in the world.

Advantages of using VoIP

So, what are the advantages of using Voice Over IP? There is a reason why the world is switching from old landlines to a more modern architecture. VoIP has all of the benefits associated with traditional communications, but with:

  • Lower Monthly Costs – Because all of the calls are completed over a cloud-based infrastructure, the costs are far lower than traditional providers. The cost savings are significant. For example, a landline could cost $50 a month, in comparison to a VoIP service that only costs $20 per month. This is a huge saving for a small business.
  • Lower Hardware Costs – Companies that use a Private Branch Exchange (‘PBX’) can pay a lot of money for the installation of hardware, ranging from $500 to $2000. VoIP does away with this cost (you still need to pay for an IP phone, but this is separate from a PBX installation).
  • Enables Remote Work – A VoIP service allows employees to log in from anywhere and work on the go. They can take client calls and attend video conferences as long as they have an internet connection.
  • Increased Scalability – It is far easier to scale a VoIP infrastructure in comparison to a landline, which requires expensive hardware to scale.
  • Increased Functionality – VoIP solutions typically come with data analytics, auto attendants, chatbots, AI, call transfer, and much more. You can also multitask (send files, send emails, upload documents) while on active calls.
  • Increased Security – VoIP technology can help to protect confidential information and to secure information using encryption. It can encourage and automate healthy verification procedures and password habits.

All of these benefits can be obtained from clients of the RingCentral UCAAS product range, at a competitive price.
